REAP METHODOLOGY
The REAP methodology is based on the psychological paradigm of Innate Health and is rooted in the wellness approach to working with others. Innate Health refers to the Three Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought which combined are the essence of human psychology, i.e. it assumes that the client has all the answers to their solution inside them and merely needs guidance in uncovering their own wisdom. Coaching and workshops designed with this methodology build on the natural resources we all have so that each individual can decide for themselves how to manage and run their own lives whilst attending to and solving current challenges.
Beyond Recovery uses REAP to create sustainable change and unleash innate abilities. Working with individuals with histories of addiction and offending, we assist with discovering possibility, achieving potential and realising ambition.
REALITY
Views the current reality by exploring challenges and how we experience these challenges. Explores expressed and hidden fears and desires, and the identification of self and of others and where we fit in to the whole. Explores the idea of Separate Realities – that we each have our own reality and reside within that.
EXPERIENCE
Explores the habit of thought and constructs a new understanding of experience, behaviours and performance. It explains success, failures and our intellectual response to situations. Looks at how thought navigates us through life.
AWARENESS
Explores feelings and how they act as a barometer or feedback mechanism for our state of mind. Examines state of mind, it’s impact on behaviour and performance and its relationship to situations.
PERMANENCE
Explores how clarity and confidence deepens our grounding and allows us to see the durability of this understanding. It explains how the system is already programmed to create the best possible life and experience. When we make decisions from this place we tap into a wealth of creativity, resilience, and motivation.
The work we do does not claim to fix all of life’s problems. However, the awareness that comes from understanding how the human experience is created will provide access to the resilience and wisdom that reside inside every human being.
When our understanding changes our life changes.
