THE ACADEMY

Our amazing and inspiration Academy group has evolved over the years, starting out as monthly meetings in person, for returning residents and their family members. Since Covid our Academy has evolved into weekly online meetings . But what has remained the same through the pandemic was our dedication to be there with open arms for our former residents.

From The Beginning our peer mentor and pilot practitioner programmes within prisons, run by residents for residents, we have seen our graduates become more deeply impacted and compelled to share this understanding with others.

The Academy is a key focus for Beyond Recovery moving into 2022.

Our vision has come to life with former Academy Graduates going on to live a crime free lives. Two of them becoming directors of Beyond Recovery in 2021.

With their life experience and deep understanding, we are already seeing powerful teachers emerge who are already making major changes in their own lives and other peoples. Touching communities and changing the world!
